LaPorte County Is In Bloom!

LaPorte County is like the TV show, "Antiques Roadshow"…you don’t know the value of what you have until someone tells you that you are sitting on a gold mine. Vacationers around the United States know the answer.

LaPorte County has six museums and is home to a symphony orchestra, as well as a chamber orchestra. LaPorte County is the “Heart of Art”, with many talented local artists displaying paintings, sculptures, and photography and is host to five community theatres that perform classic Broadway productions, as well as original acts. One can shop for name brands at discount prices, and enjoy specialty shopping such as antiquing. In LaPorte County, one can go to the zoo and bike along Lake Michigan, or any one of the twenty shared bikeways routes throughout the county that total 420 miles in trails.

Many of the activities found in Chicago can be found in LaPorte County. Adding to the attractiveness of visiting LaPorte County are the things that you can’t find in larger populated areas. Besides the large amounts of cultural arts and recreation found in LaPorte County, there are also several beautiful city and county parks kept in excellent condition. A family can go to several farms for the U-pick experience. Children will forever remember riding behind a tractor to the fields to pick their very own apples, or blueberries, or pumpkins that they can take home. There are festivals and events in LaPorte County every weekend throughout the year.

So, the appraisal of LaPorte County is “priceless”. For more information, call 800-634-2650, and browse the pages of this website.
